It’s hard to believe that we are already in Week 4 of NFL football.
We patiently wait so long for the season to start, then once it does, it seems to fly by. And as the NFL season blasts by, so does our chance to dominate in our fantasy leagues. Let’s not squander our opportunities. We should probably take a few moments while the boss isn’t looking and tinker with our lines ups.
Week 4 PPR Fantasy Considerations
The Baltimore Ravens are touchdown favorites at top sportsbooks over the Cleveland Browns this in Maryland this week. If you are planning on getting into the action, aside from fantasy, check this Heritage sports review.
WR: Marquis Brown
Lamar Jackson has been tossing the ball quite well this season – yes, he was looking a bit off-kilter last week. At first glance, you might be thinking to sit Brown. Cleveland has a pretty good defensive front and their secondary is ninth against wide receivers. But, the Browns secondary is starting to get bumps and bruises. As we saw against the Rams, they are starting to allow passes to slip through the cracks.
Marquis Brown is a start.
WR: Terry McLaurin
Washington’s rookie wideout has been surprisingly good. So far, he’s got a touchdown in every game and at least five receptions. This week he’s going against a horrendous secondary and mediocre pass rush. I expect the young receiver to have a breakout game.
If McLaurin flew under the radar in your league, you might already add him to your waiver wire pickups list because he is likely to produce all season.
Terry McLaurin is a start.
WR: Alshon Jeffry
Alshon Jeffry is rated pretty low this week, despite having a double-digit projection. He didn’t even suit up last week and now he’ll be going against – what’s turning out to be– one of the best pass defenses in the league. The Packers are only allowing a total of 23.6 fantasy points per game to opposing receivers … yikes.
Alshon Jeffry is a sit.
RB: Alvin Kamara
With Drew Brees out, the New Orleans running backs are going to take over. Kamara should get over twenty touches again this week and is likely to put up 20 fantasy points or more. The Cowboys run defense isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either.
Alvin Kamara is a start
RB: Christain McCaffrey
QB’s are going down left and right. With Cam Newton out of the picture, you would think that the passing game would fall too. But Allen played well last week and McCaffery is likely to remain his easy outlet. Expect McCaffrey to get a mixed bag of touches and flat passes to rack up a 20+ point game.
Christain McCaffery is a start.
RB: Sony Michel
The Pats’ main rock carrier only gained 2.4 yards per carry last week. And now he’ll be going against one of the stingier rushing defenses in the league. He also hasn’t really gotten any targets from Tom either, so if you are thinking about maybe moving over to FLEX, don’t bother.
That said, the Bills haven’t really played anyone yet, so the outlook on Sonny could be worse than it actually is. Still, he’s too risky to start in Week 4 unless you have no other option.
Sony Michel is a sit.
