Don't get me started on fantasy draft day.
It's like when you were little and couldn't sleep the night before Christmas because Santa was coming to bring you presents.
At least that's how it was for me.
The thing about fantasy football draft day is that the same level of excitement and loss of sleep (working with the LTFF crew around the clock requires some sacrifices) lasts for months before the real thing (insert pun here about long lasting).
So to fill the void that's left before fantasy draft day we spend countless hours reviewing the best fantasy football draft boards, trophies, team names and everything in between.
With our 2017 PrimeTime draft software review, we wrap up the final piece before our 2017 digital draft board showdown (coming to a theater near you soon).
Now that I've rambled on, it's time to dive into the PrimeTime Digital Draft Board review for 2017. So let's get started and see if it's the perfect fit for your league in 2017.
PrimeTime Draft Fantasy Football Draft Board
From the second you download the software to your PC or Mac, the experience is seamless.
In fact, we'd recommend you take the software for a spin via their free 2-round trial (but after you finish reading our review first).
So how do I rate the features of the 2017 version of PrimeTime Draft?
- Setup: 5/5
- Usability: 4/5
- Common Sense Factor: 5/5
- Remote Access: 5*/5*
Let's dive in just a little deeper:
Setup of 2017 PrimeTime Draft Digital Draft Board
This may be the easiest setup I've done for a draft, both digital and in-person.
That's because the PrimeTime Draft team put all of the options on one page and doesn't go overboard. It's the perfect mix of options and simplicity as far as I'm concerned.
Overall, you'll know what you're doing from the second you start. The settings screen isn't the sexiest out there, but it's functional as hell. PrimeTime Draft 2017 nails this section of the review.
Usability of 2017 PrimeTime Draft Digital Draft Board
I'll be honest, I'm super torn here.
PrimeTime Draft stays true to their simple start and keeps the options under control as you dive into actually drafting. I'm torn because at times I feel like the draft board leaves something to be desired. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel like all of the options are hidden from me and it's an experience I'm just not used to in comparison to other draft boards.
The other part that leaves me torn is that this is exactly what a true in-person draft board looks like. It's simple and clean and that's why I love it.
Once you click through a few things, it's dummy proof. There's a slight learning curve, but they provide pop-ups that explain how to use the software.
That unexplainable part that I'm conflicted over costs them 1 point in my review. Overall, great usability by the 2017 PrimeTime Draft team!
Common Sense Factor of 2017 PrimeTime Draft Digital Draft Board
See usability above. It's essentially dummy proof as long as you follow the instructions.
Remote Access of 2017 PrimeTime Draft Digital Draft Board
I won't lie, I didn't test the software for the remote access function. The great thing about the feature is that it's FREE and you can test it out. So with those things going for it, I have no doubt it works (assuming your internet is working of course).
The remote access feature allows people to view your draft online or to allow some of those remote viewers to make picks (in the event someone can't make the draft in person).
In theory it allows everyone to draft remotely, but it's meant for people to watch and/or the few that miss to be able to join in the fun.
Price of 2017 PrimeTime Draft Digital Draft Board
At the time of publishing, PrimeTime Draft is charging $25 for the 2017 season. If you used the software last year they only charge $17.50, which means you can score a discount next year as well (assuming they continue the program discount).
At that price you get every feature (and you can test it before buying) at a minimal cost to your league.
How can you say no?

The Ultimate 2017 PrimeTime Draft Digital Draft Board Review
So here's the deal, PrimeTime Draft 2017 is exactly what it's supposed to be. It's a dead simple draft solution for your 2017 fantasy football draft.
Watch the video above to get a better feel for the software, but it's essentially dummy proof.
While the main screen feels a bit dated to me (who am I to judge right?) the draft board is just like the one you'd have in person. With free remote access, it seems like a no brainer option for $25.
