Spring is in the air, flowers are blooming, and the weather is finally cooperating (on the east coast). While these wonders of nature are aesthetically pleasing, they pale in comparison to the real joy of the season: dynasty rookie drafts.
The stock of rookie picks has stabilized for the time being, as we now know each player's landing spot and the situation that they're entering. Stocks will rise and fall, however, as we approach the summer months and the beginnings of team mini-camps. Amidst the best shape of his career and ready for a breakout season narratives, it's important to note which coaches are high or low on their rookie skill players.
The numberFire football staff recently partook in a four-round rookie mock draft, with starting lineups including 1 quarterback, 2 running backs, 3 wide receivers, 1 tight end, and 1 flex spot. We used PPR scoring as our backdrop, as well as the customary non-snaking draft order found in rookie drafts.
