
The San Francisco 49ers have hired Chip Kelly as their next head coach. They fired Jim Tomsula at the end of the 2015 season.
It was rumored to be between Kelly and Shanahan, with the 49ers ultimately going with Kelly, according to Adam Schefter and ESPN.

According to Schefter, he's signing a nice little deal after being fired from the Eagles following the 2015 regular season.

There has been a ton of speculation about whether the 49ers will retain Colin Kaepernick, as some consider him a good fit for Kelly's offense.
Only time will tell how the 49ers offseason will play out.
